Bougie Backyard Builds began at the start of 2024 with a simple goal — to help out some family friends who were going through a tough time. What started as a few small projects to provide side income quickly grew into something we never could have imagined. Over time, those “filler jobs” turned into full backyard transformations, and the demand for our work only continued to grow.
Even as the business has expanded, one thing has never changed: every dollar earned goes right back into helping family and friends, opening doors to a brighter future for more and more people. Bougie Backyard Builds is more than a business — it’s a mission built on community, compassion, and creating something beautiful together.

Who We Are
Gabe and Amy are the heart behind Bougie Backyard Builds. Married since 2003, they’ve built a life centered around family and creativity while raising their six amazing kids. Gabe, Vice President of U.S. Computer Corporation, has never lost his lifelong passion for architecture and design, which shines through in every project he takes on. Amy, a dedicated stay-at-home mom, not only homeschools their children but also brings her eye for beauty and detail into each build, ensuring that every structure is as stunning as it is functional. Together, they blend skill, creativity, and family values into everything they create.

Where We Are
We are proudly located in Sunset, Louisiana, right in the heart of Cajun country. While this is home for us, our builds have reached far beyond—by mid-August 2025, we’ve delivered and sold coops across Tennessee, Texas, Arkansas, Alabama, Mississippi, and of course, throughout Louisiana. No matter where you are, we’re excited to bring our craftsmanship and passion for beautiful backyard builds to your property.

Basilio Dominguez
At the heart of Bougie Backyard Builds is Basilio—the skilled carpenter and contractor who truly makes it all happen. With many years of experience building homes and a wide variety of structures, Basilio brings unmatched craftsmanship and dedication to every project. As one of ten brothers, all working in construction, building runs deep in his blood. More than just a contractor, Basilio and his family have been close friends of ours for years, and Bougie Backyard Builds simply would not be where it is today without the incredible hard work, talent, and commitment of Basilio and his crew.
